Chandima Nelum Kumari had her children live in abject poverty unable to even feed themselves on a daily basis.

Their biggest dream was to have a place to call home.

In 2021, News 1st aired a report on their plight. Following this news report, APS Logistics International (PVT)  Ltd came forward to assist Chandima and her family to realise their dream.

Construction of the house that commenced on the 18th of June this year was completed in just 4 months, and today was handed over to Chandima and her family.
