Residents of Ihala Digalla in Matale were suffering from a lack of clean drinking water for generations. They had to walk 5 KMs to collect drinking water where they forced to buy clean water. There are about 25 patients suffering from kidney ailments. The people reached out to Gammadda for help. Gammadda heard their cries and responded by commissioning a Reverse Osmosis plant. This plant is located in the village school. This water project will benefit not just the residents but also the students of the school who will have easy access to clean water. All work has been completed and the project will be vested to the public tomorrow (3rd June, 2022).
